Press Releases First Step in Major Expansion Begins PLANO, Texas, August 27, 2002 As part of an aggressive move to expand market penetration, AMS today announced the appointment of Paul Fiddick to its advisory board. Advanced Microbial Solutions, LLC (AMS) announced the appointment of Paul W. Fiddick to its Advisory Board. Mr. Fiddick, formerly the Assistant Secretary of Administration for the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), will advise the company on matters related to its business strategy. Mr. Fiddick's tenure at USDA spanned two administrations, over the period of 1999 until 2001. Prior to his government service, Mr. Fiddick distinguished himself as a senior executive in the media industryas co-Founder of Heritage Media Corporation and, later, as Vice Chairman and interim President of Motorola's Internet subsidiary. "I am delighted at Paul's decision to join us as an advisor, and I welcome the opportunity to work in close concert with him", said Dave Lanciault, AMS' President and Chief Executive Officer.
