General application procedures for SuperBio Ag Blend
- For each acre, mix 1-2 gallons of SuperBio Ag Blend with at least 10 gallons
of water and/or liquid fertilizer. If mixing with liquid fertilizer that has
not been diluted with water, it is preferable to mix 1:1 with water prior
to adding the Ag Blend. Higher dilution ratios are not detrimental.
- Apply through irrigation or use existing spray equipment, Hi-Boy or fan
sprayers. Ensure at least 1 gallon of SuperBio Ag Blend is distributed per
acre.
- If mixing with other products, avoid highly acidic or alkaline conditions.
It is also recommended to jar test mixtures of SuperBio Ag Blend with other
chemical fertilizers prior to use.
- Do not mix with fungicides.
- Do not tank mix with high salt fertilizers (28% or 32% liquid N).
Seed treatments
- Use one (1) quart of Ag Blend per acre (assumes 30" to 42" row
widths) mixed with at least 2.5 gallons of water.
- Apply with a nozzle that sprays approximately 6" in width and is directed
onto and into the seed furrow opening.
Transplanting
- The bare roots or seed tray may be drenched (dipped) in a solution of 2
to 4 ounces Ag Blend with 1 gallon water (32:1 ratio).
- Or apply the solution to the soil around the ball of the plant and into
the hole at planting.
- For optimum results, spray the soil at the recommended rates 1-2 weeks prior
to transplanting and then again 15- 45 days after transplanting at 2 quarts
per acre.
Citrus Groves
- For initial applications during the growing season, a combination of 2 quarts
Ag Blend and 2 quarts SoilBuilder (along with appropriate water for dilution)
per acre has proven effective, especially when applied along with fertilizers.
- Subsequent applications should be made every 3-4 months using the same combination
of Ag Blend and SoilBuilder.
Fumigated vegetables, strawberries and watermelons
- If using a starter fertilizer (poly start, jump start, kick start, etc.)
mix 1 gallon SoilBuilder to 100 gallons transplant water at planting time.
- Inject a second treatment 15-30 days later (preferably with a fertilizer
application) at 2 quarts Ag Blend per acre through the drip system. For strawberries
it is recommended to treat a third time at half the rate.
- If no starter fertilizer is used at transplanting, then use 2 quarts SoilBuilder
and 2 quarts Ag Blend per 100 gallons of water. Second treatment is the same.
Organic farms
- Use SuperBio SoilBuilder at the rate of 1-2 gallons mixed with at least
10 gallons water per acre.
- Diluted product may be applied directly to the soil as a pre-plant and/or
post-plant treatment or as a foliar application.
- Excellent as a starter or co-mix for compost teas.
- For transplanting, roots or seed trays should be drenched (dipped) with
4-6 ounces SoilBuilder mixed with 1 gallon water. May also be sprayed onto
bare rootstock prior to transplanting.
- For seedbeds, mix 1 gallon SoilBuilder with 10 gallons water and spray over
seeds at planting or onto moistened pre-seeded soil.
