Gerald J. Quinn
Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing
Jerry Quinn has an extensive background in the agricultural, agrochemical and chemical industries. His 30 years of experience include leadership positions on the national and international levels at Zeneca, Rhone-Poulenc, and most recently with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, in areas including marketing, electronic commerce, business management, R&D, technical service, government affairs, and corporate and community affairs.

As Marketing Director at Zeneca he led the company’s growth through the development and launch of numerous new active ingredients resulting in more than doubling of the sales revenue and three times increase in profit. He later served as the Business Team Leader responsible for the international development and sales of the selective herbicide product line. Jerry started his career with Rhone-Poulenc holding several technical and marketing positions, prior to becoming the worldwide Assistant Director of Biological Development. With CGE&Y, Jerry consulted to and managed accounts in the chemical and agricultural industries.

Mr. Quinn also was the founding President and Director (1994-1997) of RAPID, Inc., a consortium of over 60 manufacturers and distributors, which is leading the agricultural industry initiative toward electronic commerce, communication standards and regulatory database availability.

Mr. Quinn has an M.S. degree in Plant Science from the University of Delaware and a B. S. in Ornamental Horticulture from the University of Delaware College of Agriculture.
